Formulasi SNEDDS (Self-Nanoemulsifying Drug Delivery System) Kombinasi Minyak Astiri Sereh Dapur dan Daun Cengkeh

Minyak atsiri sereh dapur dan daun cengkeh memiliki aktivitas sebagai antibakteri, namun dengan beragam aktivitasnya sebagai antibakteri minyak atsiri memiliki kelarutan dan biovailabilitas yang rendah jika dibuat sediaan oral maka dilakukan formulasi SNEDDS (Self-Nanoemulsifying Drug Delivery System). Tujuan penelitian ini untukmenghasilkan formulasi yang optimal dari SNEDDS kombinasi minyak atsiri sereh dapur dan daun cengkeh serta minyak tunggal daun cengkeh. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode experimental di laboratorium dengan optimasi surfaktan (tween 80) dan ko surfaktan (propilenglikol, PEG 400), SNEDDS yang diperoleh dilakukan evaluasi % transmitan, emulsification time, pengujian ukuran partikel menggunakan particle size analyzer dan stabilitas tetesan nanoemulsi pada berbagai suhu (4oC, suhu ruang dan 37 oC). Hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan formulasi SNEDDS dapat bercampur homogen dengan % transmitan rata-rata lebih dari 99%, emulsification time rata-rata kurang dari 1 menit dan ukuran partikel terkecil yaitu 407 nm pada perbandingan minyak kombinasi (1:1): surfaktan tween 80, 3 ml: ko-surfaktan propilenglikol 2 ml dalam media aquades, serta stabil pada berbagai penyimpanan suhu. Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa formula SNEDDS kombinasi minyak atsiri sereh dapur dan daun cengkeh yang optimal terdiri dari tween 80 dengan propilenglikol mampu menghasilkan campuran yang homogen pada perbandingan 3:1 dan 3:2, pada minyak tunggal daun cengkeh perbandingan 2:1
