Isu Etik Kemajuan Teknologi Reproduksi Berbantuan: Literature Review

Kemajuan teknologi reproduksi berbantuan (Assisted Reproductive Technologies, ART) selama beberapa tahun terakhir telah mengubah cara pandang tentang reproduksi manusia, membuka peluang bagi pasangan infertil, tetapi juga memunculkan dilema etika, hukum, dan sosial yang semakin kompleks. Kemajuan teknologi reproduksi berbantuan (Assisted Reproductive Technology/ART) telah membuka peluang besar dalam penanganan infertilitas, tetapi juga menimbulkan dilema etik, hukum, dan sosial yang kompleks. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian literatur yang bertujuan untuk memetakan isu-isu etika utama dalam praktik ART terkini berdasarkan artikel internasional terbitan periode 2020–2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelusuran sistematis di database PubMed. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan ART memunculkan tantangan etika yang meliputi keadilan akses, komersialisasi (terutama dalam praktik surogasi dan industrialisasi klinik), tanggung jawab profesional terhadap kesalahan prosedur dan nasib embrio beku, serta potensi diskriminasi genetik dari penggunaan skrining genetik poligenik pada embrio. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya regulasi dan pedoman etik global yang berakar pada prinsip bioetika universal—otonomi, benefisensi, non-malefisensi, dan keadilan—agar kemajuan bioteknologi reproduksi dapat berlangsung secara adil, manusiawi, dan bertanggung jawab secara moral.
