Fenomena Komunitas Sosialita Mom Syantik dalam Pembentukan Identitas Sosial di Media Sosial Instagram

Perkembangan media sosial telah mendorong lahirnya komunitas sosialita digital yang berperan dalam membentuk identitas sosial masyarakat urban, khususnya perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena komunitas sosialita Mom Syantik dalam proses pembentukan identitas sosial di media sosial Instagram serta memahami makna simbolik yang terkandung dalam aktivitas komunikasinya. Penelitian menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam terhadap enam anggota komunitas, serta dokumentasi aktivitas offline dan online di Instagram. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis tematik dan interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunitas Mom Syantik berfungsi sebagai ruang kolektif bagi perempuan urban, khususnya ibu rumah tangga, untuk membangun dan menegaskan identitas sosial melalui simbol-simbol gaya hidup seperti penampilan, aktivitas arisan, pemilihan ruang sosial, dan representasi visual di Instagram. Interaksi simbolik yang berlangsung secara berulang memungkinkan anggota menginternalisasi nilai, norma, dan citra kolektif komunitas. Media sosial tidak hanya berperan sebagai sarana ekspresi individu, tetapi juga sebagai arena strategis dalam konstruksi dan legitimasi identitas sosial komunitas perempuan urban modern.
