Dampak Judi Online Ditinjau dari Hukum Islam

Perkembangan teknologi mempermudah akses masyarakat terhadap perjudian online, yang bertentangan dengan nilai agama dan moral, khususnya dalam Islam. Pemerintah Indonesia melalui UU ITE telah melarang perjudian online, namun fenomena ini tetap berkembang, menyebabkan dampak negatif bagi individu dan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis implikasi hukum Islam terhadap perjudian online. Menilai dampak sosial perjudian online.Mengevaluasi kebijakan pemerintah dalam mengatur perjudian online. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur, mengkaji hukum Islam dan peraturan pemerintah terkait perjudian online. Perjudian online dilarang dalam Islam karena dampaknya yang merugikan moral dan kesehatan mental. Meskipun ada regulasi, penegakan hukum masih kurang efektif dalam mengatasi masalah ini. temuan ini menegaskan bahwa diperlukan revisi kebijakan yang lebih tegas dan sinergi lintas sektor antara pemerintah, aparat penegak hukum, dan lembaga keagamaan untuk menutup celah praktik judi online sekaligus memberikan rehabilitasi bagi korban kecanduan. Penegakan hukum terhadap perjudian online perlu diperkuat, dan edukasi masyarakat tentang bahaya perjudian harus ditingkatkan agar dampak negatifnya dapat diminimalisir.
