Penatalaksanaan Mukokel Bibir Bawah melalui Eksisi Bedah dengan Anestesi Lokal pada Pasien Anak

Mukokel adalah lesi pseudokistik pada mukosa mulut yang terbentuk akibat ekstravasasi atau retensi lendir dari kelenjar ludah minor, dengan bibir bawah sebagai lokasi yang paling umum, terutama menyerang anak-anak dan remaja. Trauma lokal akibat kebiasaan parafungsional atau iritasi mekanis oleh struktur anatomi seperti tepi gigi seri yang tajam merupakan faktor predisposisi yang sering terjadi. Laporan ini menyajikan kasus mukokel bibir bawah pada pasien anak yang ditangani dengan eksisi bedah di bawah anestesi lokal, dikombinasikan dengan penghilangan faktor predisposisi melalui pengasahan tepi gigi seri yang tajam. Seorang pasien laki-laki berusia 10 tahun 4 bulan datang dengan lesi persisten pada mukosa labial bawah kiri berukuran sekitar 6 mm, yang tidak kunjung sembuh setelah lima kali kunjungan observasi. Pada kunjungan keenam, lesi tersebut telah bertangkai, dan dilakukan eksisi bedah. Prosedur dilakukan dalam kondisi aseptik dengan anestesi infiltrasi yang diberikan melalui jarum suntik aspirasi. Penjepit arteri dipasang di dasar tangkai dan ditekan hingga iskemia lokal tercapai; lesi kemudian dieksisi di atas penjepit menggunakan gunting bedah. Penutupan dilakukan dengan jahitan 5-0 menggunakan dua simpul terputus, diikuti dengan penggerindaan tepi insisal gigi 21 yang tajam untuk menghilangkan faktor predisposisi. Prosedur berjalan lancar. Pemeriksaan tindak lanjut satu minggu menunjukkan penyembuhan jaringan yang baik dan jahitan dilepas. Pada pemeriksaan tindak lanjut satu bulan, mukosa telah sembuh sepenuhnya tanpa keluhan atau tanda-tanda kekambuhan. Eksisi bedah di bawah anestesi lokal yang dikombinasikan dengan penghilangan faktor predisposisi merupakan modalitas yang efektif dan aman untuk penanganan mukokel bibir bawah pada anak, memberikan hasil penyembuhan optimal dengan risiko kekambuhan yang rendah.
