Penerapan Lean Warehousing untuk Meningkatkan Produktivitas Pengelolaan Barang pada Gudang Industri Kargo

Pertumbuhan subsektor transportasi dan pergudangan di Indonesia mendorong kebutuhan pengelolaan gudang yang semakin efisien. Namun, gudang industri kargo masih menghadapi ketidakseimbangan arus barang masuk (inbound) dan barang keluar (outbound) yang memicu backlog dan menurunkan produktivitas operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi waste dan merancang usulan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pengelolaan barang pada gudang industri kargo melalui pendekatan Lean Warehousing. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, data operasional, dan wawancara dengan staf gudang. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan Process Activity Mapping (PAM) untuk memetakan aktivitas dan mengidentifikasi waste, fishbone diagram untuk menelusuri akar penyebabnya, ABC Classification untuk menentukan prioritas penempatan barang, Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) untuk merancang layout usulan, analisis travel time untuk mengevaluasi efisiensi layout, serta evaluasi expert untuk menilai kelayakan implementasi usulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa operasional gudang terdiri atas 50 aktivitas dengan total waktu proses 375 menit, dengan waste dominan berupa motion, waiting, dan transport. Hasil ABC Classification menunjukkan bahwa pada area inbound, Jakarta (Mitra) menjadi klasifikasi A dengan kontribusi 71,3%, sedangkan pada area outbound klasifikasi A terdiri atas Jakarta (Mitra) dan Jakarta dengan kontribusi kumulatif 81,55%. Layout usulan menurunkan sebesar 8,68%. Evaluasi expert memperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,28, yang menunjukkan bahwa usulan perbaikan dinilai sesuai dan layak untuk diterapkan. Dengan demikian, Lean Warehousing dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi pemborosan sekaligus menyusun usulan perbaikan yang lebih terarah untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pengelolaan barang pada gudang industri kargo.
