Analisis Pemanfaatan Panas Brine Separator untuk Pembangkit Listrik Siklus Rankine Organik (SRO) di PLTP Supreme Energy Rantau Dedap

Indonesia memiliki potensi energi panas bumi yang sangat besar, namun pemanfaatan panas dari brine keluaran separator PLTP sering belum dioptimalkan dan langsung diinjeksikan kembali ke reservoir. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi pemanfaatan panas brine separator PLTP Supreme Energy Rantau Dedap (SERD) untuk pembangkitan listrik menggunakan sistem Siklus Rankine Organik (SRO). Simulasi dan optimasi dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak Engineering Equation Solver (EES) dengan memvariasikan empat jenis fluida kerja (R123, R245fa, isobutana, dan n-pentana), laju alir massa fluida kerja, serta tekanan keluaran turbin, dengan batasan Pinch Point Temperature (TPP) minimum sebesar 5°C sebagai constraint desain heat exchanger. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem SRO berpotensi menghasilkan daya listrik bersih optimum sebesar 2,832 MW dengan produksi energi listrik tahunan sebesar 22.327.488 kWh/tahun. Pemilihan fluida kerja terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap performa sistem, di mana R123 menghasilkan daya listrik bersih dan efisiensi termal tertinggi (12,97%) dibandingkan tiga fluida kerja lainnya. Laju alir massa optimum diperoleh saat TPP mencapai batas minimum 5°C, sedangkan tekanan outlet turbin optimum diperoleh pada 100 kPa. Analisis keekonomian menunjukkan sistem SRO ini layak dikembangkan, dengan NPV sebesar USD 8.946.897, IRR sebesar 18%, Discounted Payback Period 6,46 tahun, dan LCOE sebesar USD 0,072/kWh yang lebih rendah dibandingkan nilai PPA sebesar USD 0,115/kWh. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi teknis dan ekonomis bagi pengembangan pembangkit SRO berbasis brine panas bumi di Indonesia.
